Lightweight boards: the heavyweight in lightweight
Lightweightboards are available in 120 specifications from A4-size till 153x305 cm in thicknesses of 3, 5, 10 or even 15 mm.
Foamboard:
All foamboard types have a polystyrene-foam core. They are lightweight, strong, easy to cut, they have excellent processing properties and are CFK free. They lend themselves to every conceivable indoor application. Foamboard is a versatile material that lends itself perfectly to presentation, screen-printing, adhesing, framing, models, modelling and every type of display.
Coloured Moorman Foamboard:
 | Is available in 6 colours: blue, green, purple, red, orange and yellow. Like the other Moorman Foamboard specifications is the core of polystyrene foam. The size is 70x100 cm and it's thickness is 5 mm. |
Foamboard Natural:
Is a lightweight polystyrene foamboard in white and black and it's CFK free.
In 3 and 5 mm available and in the sizes 70x100 cm and 100x140 cm.
Foamboard Natural has excellent processing properties, and is versatile, strong and lightweight.
Plus, it's ideal for presentations, adhesing, model making and all sorts of point-of-sale expressions.
Acid-free Foamboard:
The multifunctional acid-free lightweight board:
• Up- and downside with an acid-free top layer
• Manufacturing from polystyrene foam, CFK-free
• Available in 3.00, 5.00 and 10.00 mm
• Framesizes: 81.3x101.6, 100x140, 101.6x152.4 and 122x244 cm
• Excellent to use for backsides, for framing an for luxury models
Kapa boards:
All KAPA lightweight boards have a polyurethane hard-foam core, making them lightweight, highly rigid, stable and nicely level. They allow easy cutting (clean cutting edges) and effortless processing, they are CFK free, heat resistant and glossy white.
All specifications are suitable for stands, models, instore communication, presentation-material, photo collage, 3-D framing and rear panels.
KAPA boards are printable with UV- and solvent-inks. Plus, Kapaline, Kapaplast en Kapabright are suitable for screen-printing and digital flatbed printing. Kapabright has an high whiteness.
Kapamount and Kapafix possess excellent laminating qualities. Plus, they are both flame extinguishing; they meet the B2 standard under DIN 4102.
Gatorfoam:
A lightweight board consisting of an expanded polystyrene foam core and a two-sided tough melamine topcoat.
Gatorfoam is available in white in 5, 10 and 25 mm and black in 5 mm.
Forex Smart:
A good quality and rigid plastic lightweight board of two-sided white polystyrene with a white tough polystyrene foam core.
Forex Smart comes in white and is available in 10 mm in 2 sizes.
Properties of both products:
- Suitable for indoor applications. Forex Smart is also suitable for outdoor applications, and is water and weather resistant for about 2 years
- Lightweight yet rigid
- Good levelling and dimensional stability
- Printable in screen-print and with digital flatbed printers
Applications include:
Lettering, photo mounting, stages and stands, displays, in-store and shop-window designs, product and advertising presentations. Highly suitable for laminating and upgrading.
Standards:
Monkeys, backs, backrests… it are all names for the Moorman standards. Royal Moorman Karton has lots of choice of cardboard standards in her range of products. These are very useful to present our lightweight foamboard or other image carriers and promotional expressions on during presentations for example. But also very useful for displays and point-of-sales-actions.
Our standards are available in white, self-adhesive white and selfadhesive black. Both types white standards are made of 1000 grams, two-sided woodfree white plastered grey-cardboard. The selfadhesive white standard is provided of selfadhesive tape. The black selfadhesive standards are made of 1025 grams, two-sided woodfree plastered black grey-cardboard which is also provided of selfadhesive tape.
These standards are available in various heights, like 13, 18, 24, 29, 34, 39, 45, 50 and 63 cm. Only the white selfadhesive standards are also available in 80 cm. All our standards does have an hanger.
A standard needs to have 2/3 of the height of the product, so a standard of 18 cm is excellent for a standing A4-size.
Beside these sizes we have also the selfadhesive standard XXL. This is a double standard made of 3mm two-sided white corrugated cardboard and provided of two stripes of selfadhesive tape. These standard is up for 118 cm!
